Regrooving

Regrooving

Regrooving consists of removing some compound from the existing undertread of compound. It gives new sharp edges and a tread depth of about 6 – 8mm.

Tyre pressure maintenance

Tyre pressure which is too low or too high can be expensive and reduce safety. Mileage efficiency, comfort, rolling resistance and braking are all directly affected by the tyre pressure.

Alignment

Correctly adjusted wheel and axle alignment offers considerable cost saving potential.
Turn on the rim

Turn on the rim

Removing a tyre from a wheel and refitting in a different orientation ensuring that further uneven tyre wear is minimised.

Retreading

Tyre retreading is replacement of a worn tread band with a new one of similar properties.

Twinning

The rotation of wheels around a vehicle, or the fitting of replacement tyres to a vehicle, so that the tread depths on the same axles or hubs are within the recommended tread depth tolerance levels.

If wheels are not balanced properly this will cause an uncomfortable drive and vibrations through the steering. It will also have a negative effect on the vehicles handling.
