When it comes to brakes our technicians regard your safety as their main priority – which is why we offer a FREE visual Front Brake Inspection or a more comprehensive Brake Inspection for a charge. It doesn’t matter what make or model of car you drive, you’ll get one of the most competitive quotes around, whatever parts need replacing.
It is difficult to check your brakes yourself and as a result there is a danger they may go unchecked until something goes wrong. That’s why it’s essential to have the braking system checked regularly, as failure will cause partial or total loss of braking. ATS Euromaster only fit brakes that are made to original equipment standards meaning you are guaranteed the highest levels of safety as designed by your vehicle manufacturer
How They Work?
Most vehicles today are equipped with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. These are operated via a system that consists of a hydraulic circuit linked in turn to the brake pedal. Pressure generated by the pedal (the braking force) is transmitted by the brake fluid via the hydraulic circuit to perform the braking action.
Free Primary Brake Inspection
This is a visual inspection of the following components:
• Brake pads
• Brake discs
• Visible brake pipes and calipers are also visually checked for signs of excessive corrosion and damage.
Full Brake Inspection
This examines the condition of the braking system and a written report will be provided. In order for a full examination to be completed, the wheels and drums (where applicable) are removed. The following components are examined:
• Brake discs
• Brake pads and shoes
• Calipers/wheel cylinders
• Brake pipes (metal and rubber)
• Brake master cylinder/servo
• Handbrake cable and linkages
• Brake drums
• Brake fluid
The charge for this brake inspection will be deducted from any brake related invoice subsequently produced by ATS Euromaster provided the work is carried out within seven days of the inspection.
